What are you?

This is a more recent piece, started a few months back and completed recently. DOne on A4 paper with pencil, black pen and pro markers. Apologies the picture quality isn't great.

As a female bodied person I was often harassed by loud mouth kids on the bus, usually saying the phrase "are you a lesbian?" or "are you a boy or a girl?"

Now, years later after hormone therapy but pre-surgery, the kids are still there ever the same. A slightly effeminate boy gets the same gibes as a masculine girl. "Are you a fag/gaylord etc"

Little do they know that any remark, even an insult, that includes the correct pronouns and gender, is always something that can make you feel good. Hence the smirk in the second picture. I'll be a faggot any time, as long as you identify me as what I am, a male.

(Personally, I'm bisexual anyway, so it matters very little what they say. My reply will always be "sometimes.")
